Our children are missing...
60-90% of them in America, 87% in England, and nearly 100% in Iceland all because they possessed an extra chromosome that made them different from those around them.
And what has their destruction lead to?
Certainly not the lack of difference/hardship or the retention of parental convenience that abortion promised. Instead, the the willful extermination of thousands of Down Syndrome individuals has robbed the world of much needed joy, freely given affection, curious eyes, and bright smiles and has irrevocably changing what our world could have been.

While all abortion is evil the destruction of Down Syndrome, simply because it creates difference, is a cataclysm of ignorance based in eugenics that cannot be allowed a foothold in civilized society. Even as flawed human beings we have to be better than the selfishness that prompts us to destroy our own.
We can live up to our better selves...but we have to strive after that goal intentionally every single day - in the light of appreciation for beautiful uniqueness.
